I have no idea, I couldn't really tell if his was frayed in the film. It doesn't make a difference to me honestly.

They, unfortunately, don't exist in real life. Most likely they showed them to make it seem like a teenager could make the suit but those lenses were made by a company that makes lenses for NASA and the Army and then have the honeycomb pattern printed on them. You could look into the spidey sunglasses that are being sold online which have a similar pattern only that the honeycomb is gold and the lines are black. (Inverted Colors) There's a thread here that shows the actual lenses from these glasses and I was surprised at how reflective and sturdy they look.CODE ANON said:

Oh yeah he may be referring to those ones. If that's the case I would just check at a Walgreens or something in the sunglasses section. Didn't see anything leaning to a specific brand in the movie, and in those places you can sometimes find something fairly accurate. I found some "Iron Man" ones that were pretty accurate.
Thought of the official spidey suit lenses because of a specific scene. (Trying not to be spoilerish though it's not something that can ruin a movie)
