cool i found one similar straight away so shall spend time to find as close as possibleI typed "vintage camera strap" and went through pages and pages... and there it was! There's a lot of similar ones too, but I don't know if there's another exact one

They can get pretty high up in price for any of those vintage cameras, so I'm going to wait until we can get a better shot of the camera used in the film. Garfield's hand is covering 70% of it in the only shot we have.

If you look on the pic, right under Andrew's finger it looks like there's a logo or something, which is in the right spot on this camera. Also, the hot shoe mount is off center, just like the camera in the pic.

Here's a new pic of the camera, compared to the Yashica Electro 35 GSN. It looks 99% accurate. The only difference I see is the switch to open the film compartment.

TaylorMcManus, yep, looks almost exact to me. I'm wondering what accounts for the difference on the film compartment? Perhaps it is broken? That might make sense given the duct tape on the left side of it.

If you're looking for a cheap but decent enough alternative to the Vince Broken Twill Field Jacket, this Converse One Star Fatigue Jacket from Target works. Similar collar (though no built in hood), similar pocket/button placement, same color (though it looks much lighter in the photo). And the best part...it's on clearance in the stores for $15 right now!
NOW, if anyone had an authentic Vince Broken Twill Field Jacket in a SM or MD or a lead on, I'm more than willing to pay full price for it!
I really don't like that he skateboards in the movie...........Peter is supposed to be a skinny geek, not some sports hero.

I agree with you, but I can also understand where they are coming from a creative standpoint. Super hero movies these days are incredibly successful because they've learned to tone down the "camp" (Villains in colorfully lit lairs, plot devices that defy logic altogether) Think of Nolan's Batman, it's completely tied to reality and that's what makes it great. With Spider-Man, you're asking people to forgive a lot if a single spider bite turns him into a world renowned gymnast super human. Raimi explored this really well, it's fun to watch Peter turn from zero to hero. But this new reboot has to have something of its own to add to the spider-man story, and it's clear that they've decided to go full on Nolan and bring it as close to reality as possible, thus the home made web-shooters, the skateboarding indicating some sort of physical awareness prior to the bite, so what we have is a Peter Parker who is already pretty great, made greater by the spider bite.Crank729 said:
