This is how magnets are attached on a piece of Lycra. The three little magnet backing with three more inside the frames.
For those of you who want to install the lenses yourselves. You may try to use 5mm double sided tape to keep them in place, and then use crazy glue aroundthe lens. the plastic part should be a little smaller than the frame, so there is some room for the crazy glue. and the photo is the visibility of the lens.
those lenses look great. Keep up the good work.

Awesome work so far!
Would you mind explaining in fair detail how you made the original lens frame?
i take old shoes and i cut as the model....with adhesive tape i do the model to back and to front ....and with the paint spray i aplic the paint that not finish i will glu the hole....( if you don't understand i can repeat, sorry I'm french)
I got it from local auction in Taiwan. I don't know any supplier. and I didn't use the mesh I got. I just use the scanner to make the reverse honeycomb. If you read the whole thread you will know what I am talking about.Hope that helps you. Feel free to ask any questions. I will be happy to answer you.
Sure, I first start out with drawing on thick card paper, and then put putty on the back of it, and then put fiberglass on it. Then you can heat it up with a blow dryer, and bend the shape you want. After that just more putty and sanding. Until you get the right shape. And then I use silicon to make the mold with fiberglass backing. Brush on some resin on the mold, and apply the fiberglass sheet.
the lenses look amazing and im amazaed at how you got them to become magnetic to the lycra
It looks like youre draging the tip of the paint bottle through the pain, causing it to smear and not be the thick 3D lines you want. Theres a tutorial around here somewhere on doing it but I cant remember who posted it, might be able to find it on youtube.
What I gathered from it, the best way to do it is to lay down single lines at a time. Kind of like squeezing out toothpaste. That makes the corners sharpe and the lines thick.
Lenses look amazing great material!
Joelai009 do you have any updated shots of your suit sewn up? the mask or other parts?
