    Interesting choice of words.
Oh, please do not play semantics with me, okay? I already agreed with what was said that INITIALLY, posting pics that said "Not to be copied" was bad form. Now it seems that after Brian's approval, you STILL want to beat the dead horse. Sorry, the pictures are very relevant to this thread. So, his agreeing to allow them to be shown here is in good taste. The RPF cares about the pictures as much as the Prop Den does. We also care about Brian Muir's involvement in the prop community at large.

The Den got dibs on the pics, you should be happy.

What third pic? I know what was posted was pretty telling enough for me.

"Anti-Gino crowd" or not, this whitewashes the original issue how?
So what you are saying is you are willing to whitewash the fact that this is nothing more than a pile-on of a dead issue to ensure that Gino's actions aren't whitewashed... Thanks for making that clear...

I'm not playing semantics whatsoever. "Swept under the rug" was your wording. I just found it interesting. Someone puts Brian in a position where he can't do anything but... and now wrong = right because it's "swept under the rug."

You speak as if I'm possessive on behalf of the Den, and that's playing sematics with me. I'm on various forums. The focal point was that if you twist someone's arm and limit their options, if they chose in favor of your arm twisting, that does not make the arm twisting right.

I think we'd all agree that the pictures are educational and we should credit Mr. Muir for them, but they were not obtained under the best set of circumstances. Let's leave it at that, Gonz.

    No more whitewashing, folks.

Braks said that 3 versions have been made available i've seen 2 the one Brian posted on the propden small and low res.
Another on the TDH source not named a little sharper and bigger but has watermarks right through the actual helmet obscuring it.

Not quite sure what your telling remarks about i know as does everyone it's the base of the final design
Just curious to see a clearer pic is all coz you know i'm interested in SW

Again, I am with Brak's here. You call it whitewashing, and Muir being "forced". Neither is the case here. Muir could very easily have said "Ya know what, no, I do not want anyone else but the Den to see these images" and that would have been that. There was no forced coercion going on here.

You are making it seem like GINO(And whoever linked the pics to GINO) put Brian under the white light and were beating him with a phone book. Come on, man. People are just as passionate here, and there are many cross posting members on both the Den and here. Is it so far fetched that someone may have asked him AFTER the fact, saying that the RPFers who won't join other forums but are passionate about this case would want to see them as well?

If what is going on is whitewashing, then what you, SL and others are doing is the Prop Den Dawgpile.

The third copy is at the MPPC... (watches the mad dash of the people over to the MPPC). It is between the two sizes and has no watermarks at all.

Not categories, just clarity. If you would like to continue to do the dance like this, we can take it to PMs and stop OTing this thread. I know other would appreciate it, as would I.

As to the topic at hand, if the image is only larger, I won't join a forum just to see that.

Clarity? Then you clearly were wrong about associating me and SithLord. The only commonalities are that we both are on the Den and RPF, and we like Vader. In fact, we've argued as well. Many Den members are members of RPF too. So please don't make this an issue between websites.

Andrew Ainsworth made the original helmets. He has the original moulds and his helmets are the best. LFL is an evil empire and they had ILM doctor up photos to use in court.

    Mike,

Sincere question here: do you really believe that, or was that sarcasm? Sorry, I sometimes can't tell by reading alone.

In court, they're all wearing wigs. Wearing wigs and discussing plastic stormtrooper helmets very, very seriously. While frowning. AA is frowning, the Lucas people are frowning. The helmets are frowning. It's really very sad.

step back, re-evaluate, deep breath and.......relax.
just remember, you're all healthy and nobody has slandered your Mum so chill out and lets get back on topic.

Seriously, you are not such the Gino supporter as this posts reads and you are more credible than this,. What he did was wrong and underneath this BS you know it. Originally Muir did NOT want it posted.
