'68 Comic — Vietnam "Meat Grinder" Zombie **DragonCon 2012 version**

Finally got around to going through the pics we took at DragonCon and thought I'd share a few. It turned out alright, although one thing I seriously lack ability in is detailing the makeup. This one was compounded by the fact that one eye was completely blind and the other was minimal vision through a small mesh covered gap. For Halloween, I'm planning to pre-paint detail on the appliance before applying. Hope to get more pics then.
And for those of who who care nothing about this costume, I threw in a few pics with some Con hotties near the end. Enjoy.

Yeh, that was one thing I wasn't happy with. Hopefully it will turn out better for Halloween. Already been playing with some different color schemes.

Started re-working the makeup last night. Got the basic colors down, just gotta add some detail and gore. Much better, I think

That color is much cooler looking! Well done! I wouldn't over do it with blood... It's looking awesome as is!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm gonna keep the blood to a minimum. Mostly around the mouth and empty eye socket. I went overboard last time trying make up for the fact that I didn't like the general makeup. Going for the older dead look.

Getting ready for DragonCon this year, I figured I'd add a few items to this costume. First up is a war 'souvenir' necklace. Here are the first few bits. I have to cast my ear to add a few more trophies to the mix.
