The X1 body halves are finally modified, with additional internal supports and prepared for the skin mold.
Lower half of main body molded.
Keep em coming.
The first large piece is cast and this is pure resin heaven!

Unreal! Love it!
You must have cried, having to junk such beautiful molds. That will have added to the cost no doubt.
Glad to see the new ones are so nice though. What a piece. Wow.
It is all a part of the learning process - when i made those first molds i did not even know about pressure casting. I lost a lot of money, but that will not affect the price of the kit

What is Thixo?
I have a thickening agent, but thats not it is it?
Now i get your meaning - this is definately paintable stuff!!!
The upper half of the body is molded and cast. I also posted a picture of the molds i have made so far, just to show the size of the project.. This is why things take time...
Wow! No, double wow!
I'll triple WOW that!!!!
I cannot WAIT to see you (and this) at Wonderfest! SUCH a nice set of parts coming out of your workshop. It's a benchmark in "home brew" casting, as far as I'm concerned!
How much are these babies gonna cost?
anytime I look at this beauty....
I am shivering in excitement
I'm sure the price is right. Glad to be on this list!
