Thunderbirds Scratchbuilds

Sir, i am in awe! My favourite show as a kid and still some of my favourite sci fi vehicles ever. You have done them more than justice and should be proud...but where's T2?

Thanks people. I don't have any construction photos of TB1 or 3 because I made them in the days before digital photography, here are some construction pictures of TB4.

Love it to bits...some are saying that the models used in these shows were "simple", but with all those curves/lines they're far from simple to make. Good job mate!!

Kevin, glad to see you posting here too!

The people here know what they're talking about. Your work is awesome.

Cheers
Eddie

Absolutely adore these models! Thunderbirds was a big part of my childhood as my dad grew up while it was on TV, he then introduced it to me and I spent hours on end watching the show :) great scratch builds

Scratch building is the most rewarding modelling IMO. It takes so much longer, but the process is truly gratifying.

You work is exceptional!.....now can you please build my favourite TB model T2:D

I loved TBs as a kid, especially for the models......but Parker, used to give me the creeps......:(

Thunderbirds and in fact all of the Gerry Anderson shows were a major part of my youth..it seems Gerry was always able to create a show that fit my age at the time...what a genius the and the modelling and FX team were.

These look great...a credit to you, fantastic work.

Half way through a SS Shado Mobile myself...would love someone to create a SS SPV.

The TV 21st century guys were always able to absolutely nail a design which led to such iconic crafts...the memories of which have stayed with me to my 50'S and no doubt to the end.

Salut on your great work and thanks for sharing. :thumbsup

These are awesome builds! I loved watching The Thunderbirds as a kid. As a matter of fact I just went on Amazon and pre-ordered the complete series on blu-ray. It should be out in June. I'm not a scratch builder, but HLJ has some Aoshima kits at 1:350 . I just might have to pick up a few. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories of the show. Those are great models!
