The Thing Dioramas

Hi all,

I thought I would share some of my work. With the new Thing prequel out in the US I have been working on a few projects based on John Carpenters movie. My work has been featured on the Outpost31 website.

I am in the early stages of putting together a Kennel Thing that will be a puppet.

But here are a few pictures of my THING related diorama's:

Thanks for looking!

Very nice work! We should get you together with Drop Ship Bob. He does some amazing custom Thing work as well.

Re: The Thing Diorama's

Thanks very much guys.

Do you have a link to any of Dropship Bob's work?

I'm planning on putting together resin kits of my work. The Thing is my main scope right now.

Kennel Thing will be full puppet and tend to make a few once it's molded up ect.

Will post more pics soon!

Thanks again guys

I use Bostic glue. As I apply it I blow on it gently to dry it quicker. Then stretch the glue from one area to another. I've used this technique for all my models.

Cheers

Re: The Thing Dioramas

thanks, does it stay tacky at all, i mean would it get coated in un-removable dust over time.

i have tried a few glues over the years and this has been a bad side effect.

Re: The Thing Dioramas

It dries non sticky. So any dust can easily be removed.

If you practice first until you are happy with the results.
