Gift for my daughter Ashlee, a big Calvin & Hobbes fan like myself. It will end up in my grandson Jaxton's bedroom as a night light! The Calvin ship is a rare garage resin kit, the aliens and crafts are from Pegasus Hobbies. I wanted more of a 3D wall hanging, som I mounted them on the airbrushed canvas background. 9V power source on the back with very simple wiring and switch on side of frame.
Dimmed the lights and lit it up....
Very cool looking. I have no doubt they're going to love it. Calvin's ship looked familiar hasn't that thing been issued and reissued alot since the 60s or one looking like it.

That's funny as hell. I've been thinking as using those clear capsules as domes for my own spiff spaceship for the longest time. Good to see the concept works!
It works, but I can't find a crystal clear one for the life of me!!!! It's just a bit milky and unclear. I look like a nut in stores looking at the gumball machines!!epilepticsquirl said:
