Soldering/wire glueing directly to El Sheet Tabs without pins?

I was wondering if anybody here can provide a short tutorial or maybe some pictures on how you would best glue or solder directly onto an el sheet tab.

For example, if ive got a cuttable el sheet, but its only got 1 set of connector pins on each side, so 4 in total. that means once ive cut out the 4 shapes, ive got the rest of the el sheet tabs i could use.



but these tabs won't have any connector pins on them.

So was wondering how you guys normally do this? Is soldering too risky, since the space between the tabs is very small? or is wire glue better?

what method would you advise?

look closely at the way the company soldered the wires on...at the edges of the sheet, on opposite sides.
