Small Seaview
This is the smaller 1/350 Seaview by Moebius.
![]() I also puchased the ParaGrafix PE set and Monkey Works flying sub to go along with it. The lighting is of my own invention using Xmas tree light LEDs and fiber optics. Hope you enjoy the pics! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Flying Sub: ![]() ![]() Lights on! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I welcome all comments and questions. Re: Small Seaview
Love the shading and the weathering on the Seaview! It really gives it a lot of depth (no pun intended) and adds to the realism. The lighting really makes it stand out too! Great work!

Re: Small Seaview
Thank you ewokus and DS Operative.
I realized last night the windows still had a little Tamiya tape residue on them so I cleaned them with a microbrush dipped in Windex before applying a fresh 50/50 mix of Future and Windex. What a difference that made! The windows are so clear, I should be able to get some really good shots of the control room now! ![]() I also glued the tiny rare earth magnet I got at Radio Shack into the roof of the hangar bay with 2-part epoxy. It fit just perfectly into the inner circle where the access hatch is in the ceiling. The flying sub already had a metal washer glued into the upper hatch recess so now it sits nice and snug up inside the hangar bay with just enough clearance for the doors. Here are a few more pics from my last photo session: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More to come! Last edited by trekriffic; 01-07-2011 at 07:01 PM. |
