Before I start on mine, anything special you did to reinforce the structure? Or was the bondo on top of the cardboard good enough? I'm worried about getting it built and then the Bondo is too much for the structure of the ship.
I'm also interested in making mine to be a replica of the toy ship shown in the miniseries, only a Skyfighter version, not the transport.
I love that your version, while looking like a model, can have some toy-like qualities. I want mine to be able to be opened and action figures put inside in chairs. Got to work on scaling the figures and ship, but if I get it all done I'll do custom packaging too.

You posted in a member's build up thread to advertise that you will be selling a similar item?! Not such a cool thing to do. It would have arguably been better to post your own thread showing how you built yours with an interest list in the Junkyard. Who knows, maybe Scorpion was planning to produce a small run and sell HIS skyfighter.
