Score (but sad)
Local hobby shop is closing... it's literally within walking distance, so it really sucks. However, I got this for a song:

Great score but I agree it is a bittersweet one. It's always sad to see a local shop go under. Our local shop has been dwindling for a couple years now, so it's just a matter of time till it's gone.

Mine did the same bought the entire carousel of
evergreen strip i got over 400 pieces for $300 . And that number doesn't even count sheeted stuff!Sad though would rather have the hobby shop! |

Nice score! But it's always sad to see a hobby shop close, and it's happening more and more. I used to go to Grandad's Hobby Shop in Springfield right off the Beltway, great shop. He didn't close, he just moved to West VA

Awesome score.
Most of the shops in the SF Bay Area closed several years ago. Now living in the Ca Central Valley the closest shop is North Modesto, about an hour and a half drive one way. |
