About the only thing I could see that might give the lion more of a sense of scale without greeblifying it too much would be to do the old Derek Meddings trick of adding some small decals (stencils, squares and such) to parts of the model to make it look like it is "full size". Just a few little markings in spots could have the desired effect. Only other thing I can think of would be strategically placed truster ports (flush mounted like a shuttle or a nuBSG Viper) to make it seem more realistic and less like alien technology magic.

That was a very quick model shot in that short, but I am GLAD it was done as a model shot and not as CG as it gave a nice sense of scale.

Yeah, It was the deadline that kept me from beveling and stenciling the crap out of it. I made thrusters out of spray paint nozzles, which you see on the side of the head and the front part of the body. I agree more would be better.

Wow plugz thats a pretty damn awesome red lion. My only wish is that someone did a kit of all the lions with the amount of detail yours has in it that actually make them look like real machines and not cheap crappy plastic toys. A three foot complete voltron with detail and weathering like yours would be awesome...

Duuude you are all sorts of cool.That is amazing!!!

That was one of my fav shows when I was a kid and I`ve just bought the box set and got my son into it.Being here is like reliving my childhood.I love it!!
