Hi all,


Here is a project started some time, it's the NX-01 1/350 Polar Lights.


The first step was to paint the interior of the vessel to prevent light leakage.
I realized the lightup of bussards with 6 LED connected to a chase, for the general lightup I used ruban led.

Very nice indeed.
A suggestion on the buzzard collectors , the chaser circuit you have is very nice but the actual collector had random blinking/fading animation, so to get this effect you could wire the leds in a cross pattern such as #1 then #4 then #6 then #2 then #5 and #3 in this fashion it would look more screen accurate.

Just a suggestion, other than that it is looking real good so far.

your build is looking really really awesome, I need to get this kit too.
I have the PL 1701 TOS, TMP and will be getting the NX-01 soon , my problem is finding the time to actually build 8 other models that I have been procrastinating to do due the RL issues

I have used the 1:1000 Acreation decals and they made me wish that I'd bought them for my 1:350th kit.
They aren't exactly like the kind of decals you'd get with a kit and WILL require trimming but I suggest buying them.

Interesting. The aztec decals are reddish then?

The decals aztec acreation are slightly coppery.
