I modified this kit with a flatter bottom fuselage, bigger air intakes and some brass laser cannons. Also chopped up and modified the kit pilot.

Great paint job and weathering!

my only small critism and a very easy fix is to thin down the canopy frames which are way too thick.

I agree. I plan to thin the next one down a little for my Red 4.

The base coat is

Tamiya AS-20 Insignia White​

over grey primer. The other markings are acrylics from Craftsmart They are Cardinal Red. Mustard Yellow and Sailing sky blue. They were thinned with water and shot through an airbrush. I used Frogtape to mask them off. I mixed a thinned basecoat and misted the blue a little but not the red. I used Liquid Mask resin to create the chipped paint effect.
