MPC Millenium Falcon build...

not that it matters at all - your Falcon is yours of course, but the pic above isn't the original - that's a still from the new Episode 7 trailer - note the rectangular radar dish (dead giveaway). Yours is excellent btw. I'm about to embark on my own MPC project.

Rearranged the electronics inside and worked a bit to minimize inside reflections. When the LEDS receive the full 12V the light gets very intensive!

Main hull halves are not glued yet. I also rearranged the LEDS distance from the grill and the frosted clear plastic strip behind to get better light dispersion and less hot spots. Im satisfied with the result as the light output is very similar to the bluish white color seen in the movie.
 
The old MPC looks brilliant!!!

I've one too, non finished yet! I'm adding my 3D printed mods to it... But a very slow rate. Not enough time!
 
Looks fantastic! I wish I could do the lighting like that. One suggestion, you might want to spray it with a coat of dull coat (Testors 1260) or equivalent. That will take that shine off. But its really looking great. Those headlights are killer! I'm jealous....

When done cutting and gluing will seal the whole piece specially the panels with an acrylic matte clear coat. then paint and weathering and then another clear coat.

Hi, Scarecrow Joe. Could you share that link you used for the docking ring panels? I have a dated pattern that is not fitting. Hope you can help and that my build progresses as well as yours.
