That looks really good. How would you rate this kit? Is it worth getting?

I really, really like how clean the build looks. The armor plating at the front, along with the color and weathering of the red nose stripe, is spot on. Love it.

Is there a way to reduce the brightness of the LED's though? Maybe it's just the photo, but it looks so bright. I do, however, love the somewhat random pattern, and size, of the lights in the bow. Question: what made you choose to put white in the recess for the bays, and not to light the bays themselves? I'd love to see a Galactica with the red in the bays, but that yellow'ish color in the bays that you see in so many overhead shots.

Nonetheless, a great build. I even really like the simple, and slim, pole you used to mount it. Be frakkin' proud.

Thanks for fixing the links for me.

The FO took a long time, mostly because there is so little space.

The kit is a good one, but having said that, if I were to build another one, there are alot of things that I would fix.
The height of the command section, the armor plating overhang.
The one thing that I did fix was the small plating on the command section.
Drilled it off and rebuilt it using sheet styrene.
Looked much better.

The brightness is due to the camera exposure, it's not that bright.
If by bays you flight pods? they are lit, a string of FO in each pointing down to simulate spotlights, looks cool but impossible to photograph.

with the size I lit the recesses from the inside, not sure how to change that color but it is more subtle in real life.
