Wow! Amazing work! One suggestion - can you lessen the size of the cockpit?

Still both a wee bit too big.

Well, I'm disappointed with the end result so this won't be going on the SD - it's not worthy of the kit.

    Here it is anyway.

Have NO idea where my rugrat picked up the smaller one, but I can probably make a quik and dirty pressmold of it in no time...

Well, I suppose it'll do for now - until I can source a better one.

Disc dimension is 20mm (approx 3/4inch).

I think it looks pretty damn good, but making another one will only make the next one better by building on the lessons of this one.

And recall, that the Falcon in that cap is the full 32" ILM model. on the mega- SD conning tower.

So don't be distressed if your level of detail doesn't match that of the original studio scale ESB Falcon!

I'm pretty much a Falcon Nut... I have purchased just about every version of teh Falcon I have ever seen... Toy, model, keychain whatever. I sent Randy the SMALLEST falcon I had and it was too large... this will need to be scratched...

The little one I'm not sure I have - now you're gonna make me scour the earth to find out what it is... the larger one is the same one that you can get form the Hasbro titanium line - decent by WAAAY too big for this.

if you cast up one I'll place it next to the bridge part and see what it looks like size wise... My SD isn't built yet but I can get a size by grabbin the part and laying that mini falcon on there.

    howdy,

i just got back from a trip to florida, and stopped by Randys workshop and apt. I saw the falcon you sent in, he had it sitting on a wire next to his build up of the SD. A few days later i was in Disneyworld MGM's pizza planet and starting chatting with some Star Wars Fans in line next to me. They showed me some 'miniatures they obtained from a 5 dollar grab bag next to the 'stunt show spectacular' One of the little baggies had a 1 to 1.5 (aprox) inch falcon that to my best guess would be a perfect fit. My wife had confiscated my wallet after i purchased a 'stitch yoda' and wanted to buy this falcon badly. My wife later passed out in the 'honey i shrunk the kids playpark, and i slipped away to the stunt show area only to find the cart closed for the day.

anyone out there have one of these mini falcons?

Micro Machines are perfect for the Randy's SD.
You can use the Falcon and Blocade Runner.

We looked at those and they're way too big. It needs to be around 20mm.
