Here are some more Pix of the Falcon's undercarriage. Look close and you will see I added more details to the area, per the filming miniature. Some of this detail was removed for the addition of the extra Landing gear boxes introduced in Empire.

Love the hoses in the landing gear, really sets it off I think.
I don't think I've seen anyone else add this detail, nice touch!
Nice! I'll say this about the TESB model: those extra landing gear makes it more stable. I don't think I'd want to walk around under the ANH
ANH looks better though![]()
Hey guys, I am thinking of putting this Model in a Docking bay 94 Diorama....
I'll probably want to scale it accordingly..Perhaps cheat just a Little like the set built for ANH.
To me, that's when I fell in love with the Falcon.
I'll post pix and updates...soon..I hope.
I got bored and decided to have fun with my MPC corrected Falcon...
I couldn't find any Pics of Tatooine WITH Stars, So if any of you Experts with Photoshop can help, PLEASE DO!!

No problem, it's fun! In Paint.net, I made an image to match the size of your pic, and filled it with black. Then go up to Effects and click Add Noise. Adjust the two slider controls to create the size and density of stars you want. Then paste your pic on top as a second layer, and use the erase tool to reveal the stars underneath.
Your pics had a slight color mismatch in the background, so I raised the contrast a bit to match.
