Instantly recognisable as Klingon, but looking sleek and nimble, too. I can imagine this being a lighter attack craft to compliment the larger cruisers.
I agree with you about LEDs usually being too bright in models, but your nacelles look great!

Wow, I'm usually not a big fan of "redesigned" classic ships but this thing is so sexy and just is fabulous. You are a true artists and I love when you post; it's always an inspiration (well honestly a little disappointing too because it always reminds me of how un-skilled I am, lol). Looks great Richard. Can't wait to see her finished.
That is pretty darn sweet if you ask me.
Will there by chance be a kit of this?
Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Bridge looks a wee bitty too much Starfleet-ish perhaps.
Needs a bit of assymetrical vertical growth on it methinks. A subarine conning tower type thing perhaps.
Wow! Very happy that I stumbled upon this thread. Beautiful and impressive.
Great design, I love the fusion of classic elements with the newer Klingon designs from the Next generation, this would fit right into the new Trek universe. I have one suggestion the Bridge should follow the classic configuration. Please forgive the crude drawing.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I kind of wanted a different design for the bridge.
I did a little work on hyper detailing, scribing, little panels etc.

Just the very best work I have seen.
Steve
It's like a missing link between the k't'inga and vor'cha. Very sexy.
Wow, speechless!
(the good speechless, lol)
Damn, but that's a gorgeous piece of work.
That's a great design, Rel.
It's one thing drawing a design on paper, something else to actually build it.
It look very reptilian to me.
I'd like to have seen a longer, narrower neck, but hey it's far far superior than anything I could have either come up with or built!
awesome looking design great stuff can't wait to see more pics
my god REL i so hate you
i need to move in next door
REL, You have given me a b***r.That is fantastic.
Thanks for the comments, guys.
I think I'm about finished with the top now, I had to replace a few panels that were a little wonky that I didn't notice until I took the pic of it. It's hard to see in these pics, but I made a vent along the leading edge of the wing on each side. I also added a layer of hull plating on the larger panels.
I'll take better pics later because it's dark in here.

Buddy, I'm starting staying away from your threads, because I KNOW, that I'm going to cry in awe. You really have to show this Doug Drexler, Rick Sternbach and John Eaves!
And it looks like from 2381!
Ok man that is awesome. Reminds me of the design I once saw, I think for Enterprise that had cableing going down the wings and neck.
Great work Rel!
Tis build just keeps getting better. Such crisp detail. Wonderful!!!
