Hasbo TIE FIGHTER conversion

Hi,

after weeks of work, I want to show you latest Hasbro conversion project: "TIE FIGHTER - STUDIO SCALE EDITON 2012"

What i've done:

- more realisic cockpit window incl. complete new "screw holes"
- "3 part" wings
- LED cockpit ilumination
- LED engine lights
- "visible" engine
- details added
- decals added
- all joints closed
- "LED-design" laser canons
- Death Star design base
- complete new repaint

That looks totally professional.................looks like a filming miniature, not toy like whatsoever.

I love this one. You've told us what you've had to do but you have to say how you did it. What did you do to cover up the openings at the wing star attachments? Is this the Legacy ship or the Vintage bird with larger wings?

Oh, I missed that, Thanks! I like what you did different on the wing edges. Got a great thicker look.

Looks great! Do you have a list of what details you added and modified without me having to pull my Hasbro TIE from storage and compare? Thinking of doing exactly what you did, but perhaps with a different base.

On the German "in progress" section on the site it says this was painted in Tamiya Gray mist.

I can't find a Tamiya Spray paint in that color???????????
