Just saw thread and I must say it's totally cool. I'm a huge fan of Halo and every photo of your Pelican echoes the background music in my head.

hope i do justice to this. I have a long way to go to get the finish many achieve here on their builds, but i'm still learning. Thanks for looking I personally have played Halo 1 and 2 but i'm a fan. The vehicles are quite unique. Unfortunately console and monetary restrictions have prevented me from finishing the fight, so to speak. Thanks for stopping by

Haha yes. Though not a very good one. I have the other helmet as well. It is fiberglassed and ready though i haven't found the energy to start the sanding process. Thanks for stopping by. Glad you like it

I know how you feel my ship turned Out bigger then it should 90cm without the engines so Will be around 100cm before i'm done with it

got some more images for you folks. I haven't progressed Just trying to figure out the next step. Life is getting in the way and i fear i may have to put this project on hold again. Maybe indefinitely. We'll see.
Meanwhile, i decided to tackle the panel lines. I was aiming to learn inkscape anyway and this was a good opportunity. The idea is that i would draw the panel lines, blow up the images, place them on the pelican and trace them out. So i know exactly which panel line goes where.
As you can see, it's still a WIP. Thanks for stopping by

I do have some progress but nothing to write home about. I spent an ungodly amount of time fiber-glassing everything. That was a nightmare but the ship is now nicely solid and hollow. Then I spent more time filling in all the huge gaps and cuts all along the body work with putty and sanding those down, then using a LOT of filler to hide the sanding which led to more sanding. I primered everything just to take stock of where I stand and, as can be expected, there's still a lot left to do. I don't really feel like working on this right now, what with a full time job and other small projects and learning 3D so maybe one day I'll get back to it.
