Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
I don't know who made it, but a possibility is the company "John Nissen". I'm not really sure what a harlequin is, but I sure as hell won't Google that again... Last edited by Dark Side Sith Lord; 08-17-2010 at 05:24 AM. |

Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
John Nissen? Aren't they dirt expensive?
Well... Harlequin from Batman. Sorry... could have been more precise, as yes... google is NOT your friend, when trying to find her. |

Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
Most mannequins are expensive, but this was bought cheap at a market I was at once, so the total cost of everything was $327. Not really sure if they made it though, but the company logo looks just about the same, and now they are called New John Nissen, so possibly this old mannequin was made by the old John Nissen?
Ah yes, I am somewhat familiar with her, but Google only showed a lot of gross photos of deformed babies when I Googled for that. I'm glad you didn't mean she looked like that then!

Yeah... google is evil when searching for something generic.

Harley Quinn. Not harlequin. Type in Harley Quinn and you get plenty of non-deformity pics.

Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
@Maelstrom - Ah yes, now I see. Looks like a jumpy little fun one, that girl. Nice.
@Contec - Haha, yes I was sure someone had to see what I was talking about. Got at least two more photos done now, takes a while though since she really can't move her legs like in the photos, but it makes the images more interesting, I guess. ![]() ![]() Will make some more soon, hope ye all like. |

Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
Thanks. The first one was made to look like a mix of two photos I found online with a couple of girls who sort of looks like that, the other one I have no idea what is supposed to be, but she's holding a water sphere of sorts.
Haha, couldn't help yourself from searching that, could you? |

Re: Female robot statue - Sheera - Completed
Hey, the museum I am building a 1:1 Nothosaurus for might display these robot women and all my other robots for a while in some sort of robot themed week or something like that, so maybe something good will come from that, maybe I'll get orders to build more things or even more robot women. That would be cool after all this effort to build these things that just stand in a room all day anyway.
