Hi Guys,
Im working on getting a 3D model together of pilot and the control den. I have pulled every image cap I could get off the series and the internet but still don't have any real good images of what the surface of the control surface surrounding the pilot looks like . If anyone has pics of it showing its layout I could really use the help.
I am going to make a model from this mesh when its complete using a rapid prototyper.
This is how its looking so far.

Hi Jim,
We looked at that and decided to scale down the console a bit so we weren't using up to much material on the console . the pilot is to be the main draw of the model. Im thinking of adding a few DRDs also.

TZY - best I could come up with so far
I have a few more shots of the progress on the parts making up pilot. This is going to be run on a rapid prototyper and a resin kit made from it when its finished

Awesome work, TZY. Man, seeing that makes me wish that ToyVault did a Pilot's Den playset with Pilot figure to go with my other Farscape figures (I recently just added Rygel, Scorpius and Crais to my collection)
The 3D work is done by an artist Volitile Vertex..His first name is Chris.
This is the first project I have worked with him on and I dont think it will be the last. He is an incredible artist.
My work starts when he finishes the mesh..
All the kits I have produced have be based on 3D art models.
I have made the Transport Pod and Talyn and have plans to do some more of the ships in future.
Hope to have more updates soon.

Any chance Pilot will be in the same scale as the ToyVault figures? The set's just not complete without him.

I built a 3d model of the command carrier some time ago. If you're planning on doing more ships, I could pass it on to you. It's the original version of Crais' carrier. It's not perfect, but it's it might give you a head start.
I also built the first version of the Marauder, and the Prowler.

I have a mesh of a marauder that was given to me a while back but if you have one also let me have it . Was it one of the ones on Foudation 3D's site?
As for the Prowler . I know that there are 2 kits of it out there . 1 by Alfred Wong I think and another by Howling Wolf.
The last kit I produced from Farscape was the Transport pod .

Just emailed you the Marauder. Double-checking the Command Carrier model.
All the models were made by me, with many hours of pouring over screen caps to try and get details and proportions correct. I was going to post the models at Scifi-Meshes .com for anyone to download, but I didn't see much interest and couldn't figure out how to post models.
I was also working on the Transport pod. Seeing your model gives me confidence that I was doing it right, as our proportions and details are very similar. Cool! I got caught up in figuring out how the legs and engines folded and never finished it.
Sorry - don't mean to hijack the thread. Back to the Pilot model.

Great work on the Transport pod.
Got the files and converted to stl. Look great.l only have about 5 projects in the works at the moment. So this might be a while before I get it out there.
I wish I had this tech 20 years ago.

I can imagine the base. Scratchbuilding Pilot is something I can't imagine doing without a lot of skill in sculpting or using a 3D printer with a lot of knowledge on 3D Modeling.beeblebrox666 said:
