    Dec 29, 2008 - A.F.S. Mk 1 - In Primer! #1

Finally been able to move more on this guy over Christmas. I'm doing a group build over on Fine Scale Models. This guy is going to be painted in WW2 German winter camo as a What-if/Alternative history German "wonder weapon". I have lots of clean-up yet to do, and obvious painting.

Lookin good so far. I've always been interested in these kits, but have never built one. I may have to pick one up.

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Finally got him in primer. Took some more clean-up, but hopefully I'll get paint on him starting today.

Good stuff! The newer Wave AFS kits are a great intro into MaK modeling.

What did you do? I'm betting it's salvageable... looks like a Nitto AFS to me, and I have TONS of extra parts... if you frakked something up, I can send you a replacement if it helps!

I melted him (don't ask), he's pretty much a total from chest up and left arm.

Melted him? did you try to speed up the paint by using a heat gun or something.
That armor dont look that hard to scratch build from styrene.
