    Thanks, fellas.

    A couple more shots:

Full disclosure: the decals are googled images that I have been amassing for a couple of months that were resized in microsoft word. The astrogator display was the hardest...I believe the image I used actually came from someone here, but I found it a while back through an image search and could never find the source again...so I apologize for not properly citing its origin. I really wanted an image from the show of the astrogator, but for the life of me could not find one that was decent quality enough. The smaller display screens along each station were essentially culled from a lot of photographs from dozens of sources, cropped and resized and then affixed to thin pieces of white styrene. They were printed on clear water slide decal sheet.

For the overhead display screens (with the exception of the multicolered line images), I looked for pictures of nebulae that would work. The planet image above Spock's station is Talos IV from The Cage/The Menagerie.

I know the details are imprecise in places and lack a certain pro finish, but to me it serves a purpose...a great display for my figures.

Very cool. I had the AMT kit too and man it was a bugger. This is what they should have made the kit look like.

I really hope I have the fortitude to finish this...I'm a little scared about all of the screens and buttons and junk.

    Looks like you pulled through

Really inspiring, very nicely done! The only things that could improve that diorama΄s quality now are a few blinking lights and working screens. But IMO the cake΄s sweet enough without any additional icing, I΄d say

    Now where΄s that alien environment?

That is great looking. Awesome job getting everything in plumb.

Oh and Uhura better stand up, else she'll give Spock a show (though if it were the 2009 Enterprise Bridge that would be normal!)

    Great job.

Very well done. The only thing that needs improvement are the AA figures, and that's not on you!

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks again for all of the kind words. And while they may not be perfect, AA/DST figures are an improvement over the Playmates ones...yikes!

I've done the basic construction of the next bridge stations, and have even puttied, sanded, and primed the environmental and engineering checkout station sections!

The last section to be constructed will be the viewscreen and flanking portions of the bridge.
