Elvira Mistress of the Dark Finished!!!!

This is my first post and also my first figure kit. I have always been a fan of Elvira. I've seen all the previous kits/statues/figures of her and none of them really looked like her. Then I saw this kit in Amazing Figure Modeler magazine. It really looks like her so I had to have it. I started by cleaning all the parts with Westley's Bleach white and then a bath in Dawn dish washing soap. Here's how she looks in Raw resin



I cleaned up all the seams and then started painting. I did her skirt first in Krylon Ultra Flat Black



I painted the upper body/head flat white and then masked it off to paint the dress.



Then I started painting her face





Then I painted her hair......This is where I am at:

Got her all wrapped up. This project was a lot of fun and I will be building more figure kits.

hot. the likeness is definitely better that most others. i've got a vinyl kit that's pretty average.

I've never seen this as a kit before. It's a duplicate of the Tweeterhead Maquette that I have. Nice!
