I recently finished the test build of a new cockpit interior (for the Thunder Fighter) that is screen accurate and that can have a pilot figurine inside. The cockpit interior is still under development at this point, but should be available quite soon
I have finished this (extremely) detailed build of the Thunder Fighter from "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
I have attempted to get this model as close to screen accurate as possible.

I've been working (on and off) on those paper models you've posted... almost all of them. I loved Buck Rogers growing up and always wanted a Thunder Fighter. My favorite of the lot is the MK III advanced. Seriously in love with that. The mk III at about 23-24 inches with lights would be sick!

Eventually, I'll get around to making a roughly studio scaled, plastic/resin version of the Thunderfighter, HBB Starfighter, and the MK III advanced... possibly even the Warhawk.

Keep up the great work man...

I am glad to hear that you like the MK-III. That was my first "design". It was a very fun build. I GREATLY enjoyed it!!!
I would like to see you build it in plastic or resin. Over at www.zealot.com, there are sections for both plastic and resin builds. I am CERTAIN that MANY people there would like to see it as well (especially the designer that helped me make the MK-III in the first place).

GOOD LUCK with the builds. I am looking forward to seeing them!!!

Ah. Thanks for the zealot site in english. The paper site is in German, but I was able to get the files and make sense of it.

And now my brain is working on the details of converting those paper line drawings over to shopbot code and I should be able to router cut out some 4' x 8' panels in 1/8" plywood and build a giant version of your paper model and see how it stacks up against my 3/4 scale designed replica.

Really nice work.

This will be interesting to see.

I recently finished a build of the "Happy Birthday Buck" Thunder Fighter in 1:50 scale.

To give you actual dimensions of this model.

Length: 17.0 cm
Width: 10.0 cm
Height: 5.5 cm

Here are some photos of the model.

This one is with the regular size (1:32 scale) model.

This is with UHU02's Colonial Viper.

This is to show just how small it really is (Yes, that is my hand holding the plane).
