So far in it's not even funny....
Sorry, if it's not studio scale then it's not studio scale.
And, as an interest thread, it really should go in the Junkyard but I'll let it stay in the General Modeling forum for now.
Is it studio scale or not?
I have a model magazine with many close ups of the actual prop. It was a great ship. I was always interested in it and it's great to see someone may help me out.
Please PM me with more details.
I have pics of the original from a museum in Hollywood, FWIW...
Thanks to the interested people. PM responses sent to anyone who wrote.
We still have a few spaces left on this if anybody is interested.
I'm interested...count me in.
Did you ever see the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine with the scratchbuilt Betty on the back cover?
That was a build by my friend Ian - he's the guy that made the 3ft spinner that I posted photos of a few months back...
It was fully lit plus the engines were motorised.
I'll see if I can find his reference for you - I think he even spoke to some people in Hunter-Gratzner when he was building it.
PMs sent to all. Thanks very much for the feedback.
If anybody has general questions, don't hesitate to post and I will answer if possible.
