Re: 1/4 scale ED-209 scratchbuild

If i can find some one in the UK, and can find the finance for it, I will certainly consider it. God only knows what the cost would be, but If there are a few people interested enough to place orders then it might be possible.
Please don't start placing orders now though I have still got a long way to go before it's anywhere near finished. I promise to keep updating when I can.

Re: 1/4 scale ED-209 scratchbuild

It looks excellent, I like your building style.
ED-209 is on my to-do list, but mine will only be 1/10. If you keep working, your's will most likely be finished before mine even gets started. But . . .
I'm hoping I might be the first on the forum to tackle 'RoboCain'.

No need to be humble about this one. The pics are kind of small (hint hint!) but any major flaws would still be visible. The work looks well worthy of being immortalized in resin, so to speak. Talk to Modelnutz!

I have this thing in three scales already, but four is such a nice number.

Re: 1/4 scale ED-209 scratchbuild

this is looking awesome!, I've always been a big fan of ED so I'm REALLY looking forward to see how this progresses. Great choice of scale, I'd say 1/4 is about perfect to show off all the detail on him without it being too big (or small)

Re: 1/4 scale ED-209 scratchbuild

Awesome work! Ed-209 is a great design. A while before I saw the movie or pictures of Robocop were released, the first thing I saw was a picture of Ed-209 on the cover of a novelization so I thought he WAS Robocop for a while. I was half-disappointed when I later realized Robocop wasn't that design but I still loved the movie when it hit theaters.

Re: 1/4 scale ED-209 scratchbuild

This is looking, to borrow a line from those daft Pot Noodle ads, "spanking gorgeous"!

I also second what everyone has said, it is excellent stuff and - if it is at all possible - in sore need of being turned into the master for more.

Outstanding.

This is amazing! I've built the Horizon and Argonauts kits and would love a 1/4 scale...

I don't think the guy above me read the thread, lol
