Wish I had time for one.
Wish I had time for one.
Thanks, I wish I would have taken a little more time making sure the windows were lined up when I drilled them! Just a few things left to do other than the biggest part of the kit which is the decals. I have to attach the front of the nacelle caps (after clear-coating), paint the rear nacelles silver, paint the emitter and make a stand. Hope to be completed by the weekend (that is if the brass I ordered for the stand arrives).
This one's definitely on my list.
Looks fantastic !!!!!
Should have started your own thread. While obviously tied together it would be nice to just focus on your build which BTW is looking good.
GEEZ Man, that looks like crap!
Send it to me and I will dispose of it for you!!
Seriously though, looking pretty sweet!!
Awesome work so far!
Sent you an email.
Sent you one back. Hey any finished pictures of your build-up? Just curious.
LOL, well, not sure I ever took any to be honest. She came out beautiful; one of my favorite ships. You did a great job on the kit.

You know, I've never seen a complete build on this ship...... Including myself, I still haven't shown ****. I'll have to get on it.
Look foreard to it..
I have never build one of this type eather.
Got a light kit already.
Working on a metal sub structure..
More to come.
Mind If I post my videos and build here.
Absolutely. I would love to see the build up and videos. You can do it here if you want. And if others are interested in buying a kit, they can PM me.
Also, Steve, thanks for the compliment. This is a vacuform version of REL's original 350th BOP. I bought the master from him with his permission to turn it into a vacuform.
Unboxing video this week end..
Then on with the show..LOL
Scott no problem you showed some real smarts here in how you dealt with doing the vacuum forming. I assume from looking things over you reversed pulled. That's just plain smart.
Makes my juices get going because I own a pretty large vacuum form machine. And I hate laying up glass. Hmmmm....
Well anyway one day I really must get one of these. Nice thing is your molds unlike mind will pretty much last forever!
And yes REL or Richard sure does a nice job. Talent like that is some thing that inspires us all!
Bitchen, cool, groovy, model and I love vacuum form!
Hey Will! you never told me about this. Never assume anything I can be real dumb at times!
