To quote Geoge Takei... OH MY!!!!!

Do you plan to put a 1/6 figure of Commander Bond on the thing when you do it full RC? This is a GREAT project BTW and thank you for posting images of it here.

Yep, thats the plan. But I'm not sure yet which figure I'm gonna use, those Sideshow puppets might be a bit too heavy for this little model.
A Ken (Mattel) figure is a bit lighter than the figures from Sideshow, chop off his head and replace it with the head of Roger Moore might work.

The Lotus Esprit (sub) is a pretty complex model to get it working, it's possible but difficult and probably very expensive.
I'm thinking about an airplane, the Acrostar mini jet from Octopussy or the Sea Bee from The Man With The Golden Gun.

I had no clue what this was called until now, I thought it was a first generation jetski all this time. This is a very cool build and I can't wait to see it in action.

A casting of a Mego head from a Moonraker Bond figure might work perfect for this, considering Roger Moore didn't change much from one film to the next.

Jetski I believe was a name trademarked by Kawasaki when they did theirs. Wetbike was the original term, but the Jetski caught on as a term that most people used.

Far as I know the Wetbike is the first personal watercraft with jetpropulsion ever made, the Wetbike used in Spy is actually Suzuki's prototype. The late production models are slightly different than the Wetbike used in the film.

Sounds correct to me. And if you notice, it appears that when Kawasaki (or whomever) did the Jet Ski, they couldn't copy the Wetbike's seated configuration probably due to trademark and/or patent issues, so they went with the different configuration.

The first commercial pump power personal watercraft was made by Bombardier in the 60's and the next was the Kawasaki 400 which ended in 77 when the wetbike was shown in SWLM. That same year Kawasaki introduced the JS440 their second gen jetski. All designs of Clayton Jacobson IIRC.

Biggest difference betweet a Wetbike and a Jetski, is the sitting and/or standing position of the driver.
Both are a different concepts of a personal watercraft, but with the same propulsion technologies.

Did some new steering tests today, the servo rod kicks the front panel out of the body of the Wetbike.
