TIE fighter wing oriantation

Does anyone know if there is a correct TIE fighter wing oriantation such as left or right, top or bottom, inside or outside to the wings???

I have looked at my SS TIE wings and the real SS models, but I don't know if I can say for positive.

Any ideas?
