Is there any good reference or information on this model?

I believe the original was done at 1:3 scale making him about 24".

The model was also reused for the back ground endoskeletons in the future war sequence in T2.

I found one interesting thing.

The Cinemaquette version of the T800 Endo is in a 1:3 scale! This makes it a pretty close approximation of the original model.

Size-proportion-wise to the people working on the endo in those pictures, I'd say fourth scale - similar to the old ArgoNauts vinyl and metal kit.

I`ve always wanted to know more too. It`s an awsome model.

I have a Cinemaquette and absolutely love it.Jawdropping in real life.

I think the Cinemaquette was based on a study model/maquette? But the stop motion model remains in the dark.

From what I heard when the original cinemaquette came out is that Stan Winston studios scaled down original endo parts with a computer scanner. It`s accurate to the endo that was made for T3 which was taller and detailed a little different to the others with longer spine/abdomen and different shoulder attachments. The T3 endo was auction sold awhile ago.I`ve compared mine to many pics and it matches up.

Here`s a pic of the T3 endo.

Note for some reason I think they swapped the skull out on this as it doesn`t look right.

Unfortunately the 1:4 HT is not too accurate, but still cool, and the Enterbay didn't release any pics yet IIRC.

One of the things that would make it worthwhile would be to capture the wonkiness of the endoskull. I kinda dig how it's shape doesn't match up with the full size perfectly.

Saw an interview with James Cameron that took place in his office and in the background was an Endoskeleton model. Do you think it's the original?

The Cinemaquette version is the best of them all
the base,the pose,the look...everything!!

Sorry, I don't agree on the Cinemaquette Endo pose, every time I see it, it screams effeminate, not to say gay. I know their intention was to get a specific moving/rotating scene, but the end result was like I said... :rolleyes The main reason I passed on it twice already.
