Temple of Doom build SS
After many months debating how to do this and what i wanted it to look like , I finally came up with the right paintjob, although I may have gone overboard and made it look abandoned.
Pictures are not in order of build, just showing different applications of paints and rust effects, dusts and weathering. Cart is still missing fully working brake system and lanterns which I may make actually work. Wheels were polished with metal coat paint and YES it is REAL RUST!!!! Wow, it does look absolutely real! Real rust eh?! More realistic than the dark brown color of the studio model.

Man, that's just unbelievable. Or rather, it's totally believable. I mean, it really, really looks like an actual rusty minecar. Great work!

Mars bud, that IS sensational!! Great build and really fantastic finish.
Unfortunately the archive building is in the middle of a massive upheaval and I think the original is packed away (possibly) for the world tour… Congratulations mate and cheers for sharing! Highest regards MARK |

And Mark if its already packed.... Are you able to take it as is and bring it back with you? Or for that matter , grab anything else from the archives .... |
