Words cant describe how great this build is Julien, super stuff and still room for improvement
Only jokin bud, I just wish I wasn't leaving the planet again for a few months so I could get cracking on mine![]()

Thanks Guy !
You will do an awesome job for sure !
Hehe you're lucky to be travelling around the planetEnjoy !
OK... like the B-Wing, the stand is very roughSorry for that, I dont want to spend time on this kind of thing, for me those are not display pieces but tool for filming (well my models will never hit the screen but you get the idea :P).
All the claws are now done.
Need to order some brass tubing for the dampers and some parts from plastruct for the head and body (PVC tubing etc). Need to work a bit to know what size I needI hope they have all what I want like the 2 small buttons on the head... not sure about them !
I need to find a way to attach the body top to the skirt. Ideally I would like it to be removeable. If I cant, well I'll just glue it !
I'm pretty happy to be done with the legs (mostly), that was a tedious job !
Now I have to figure what color Im going to useI know Ive claimed for year the original paintjob had no brown in it but now I change my mind... I can barely see it in the Chronicles...
Looks amazing, Julien! Add a typewriter-made labeled tag with some string to that stand for that authentic Archives feel, lol!
Thanks J ! Good ideaAll my stand are like that, I want the ILM look ! Even if they're not a perfect copy
The only one I copied is the ROTJ AT-ST stand (the one made out of wood) with the ILM sticker ! I love it

If by buttons on the head you mean these?
Plastruct, Inc. - Online Product Detail
I like it too! It for some reason reminds me of the "FE" markings that items got after WWII, when the US brought them home (Foreign Equipment). It has a sense of mystery and excitement, sort of.
Or the hemis? They have them down to 4.8mm

On second thought - they do appear to be less hemispherical.

Probably elliptical domes?
Plastruct, Inc. - Online Product Detail
Yeah those ones, I'm not sure what it is because they're too thick to be elliptical domes. Of course I can add meat at the base but... I'm wondering what they used... Kitpart ? Found item ? No clue![]()
Yeah that's a lot of workWas not easy at all, I thought it would have been easier to be honest ! Im not sure all the guys who bought a kit know in what they felt
Hopefuly this thread will be of some help, I reckon it was not easy to figure where and how to glue all the disks and I'm not sure I did it the right way.... I didnt used the disk of the top body btw, replaced it with a large disk of styrene on mine !
Yeah I think too !
Nothing looks close in the plastruct catalog, I'm not 100% positive it's a kitpart, but that's not Plastruct stuff for sure !
Gonna take a serious look at all the kits used on the PD, we never know, maybe I overlooked !
I havent found the part you told me yesterday lol !
Many or Any?
I already have a mentle image of being sat at a PD (like a type writer) with a hundred screwed up Pd's all over the the floor and in the waste basket, a poster of Julien on the wall with darts in it![]()
Agreed its in an armor kit, as ive passed over them for sure, i get green styrene for some reason?
Lee
You are doing one hell of a great job. I just got a chubby looking at this thing.
