That part doesn't look like it would have another half to it.
True Michael, it is an odd shape, but, to be an actual antennae from a kit, hmm thats one BIG kit lol.
Maybe its not a kit part at all, could be scratchbuilt for the hell of it, looks to be white in media going by the scuff on the front, possibly just vac formed styrene....tricky!

Hmm anyone got any more pics of the back of this one? Looks like there are some nice finds to be had in the rear of the cockpit bulkhead too.

Next door to these louvres, is that a winch? Ive checked the M16 but thats too short, does look like a winch half though, but im not an expert in 1/35 winches

Yes, that's what I think it is too. The only one I've seen are the half track winches. Can't provide any more info yet...

Re: ID help Studio Scale Probe Droid / A wing

Greetings!

This is a fantastic thread! I might actually have most of the parts for an A-wing!

Back to the Probe Droid, does anyone have an ID on this part:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-David

Re: ID help Studio Scale Probe Droid / A wing

This part reminds me of F1 brake calipers.

The part behind it looks like a hatch lid (probably obvious, but...)

Just want to add that the hatch looks like the inside and on the right side of it, there are what appear to be 2 handles like on tank hatches

Great work Lee, where getting there bud.

Found a Churchill Croc part but am guessing at the license plate? it would seem the 8 Rad hinges are used on the under side as well?

Another Gepard part Guy, top hull, front right of the canopy, there is a pipe, with two rectangle shaped parts either end (dark plastic), front part is from the Gepard buddy.
Id photoshop it, but my Virgin Media internet has been on the fritz now for two weeks, and it just took another header, so uploads are impossible lol.

Top right hull Guy, there is a hatch part, with a round cut in for access to the armature screw???????
Tamiya Churchill buddy seems to fit the bill well, sadly, still cant upload photos, and now, my cable TV has gone off, as it has for the whole Bham area lol....this has been going on for almost three weeks now, and im considering, slowly strangling the next tech i talk to there

Hey!

All this looking at A-Wing donor parts has resulted in my discovery of the PD donor part I was looking for in my original post!

Tamiya Crocodile, C30, cut from the end (if anyone was interested).

It's madness I tell ya, just madness!

I knew that was a gun barrel. It's definitely got the churchill croc muzzle brake on the end - that round part of it. Great job guys!

Ace mate, double bubble as we say in the UK.

I may split the threads as its all gone a bit A wing mad but I do want to concentrate on the PD as well as i want to upgrade my kit as much as possible.
