STUDIO SCALE...whats left?

Slave 1 and MF kit aside....some of us had this conversation.

Whats LEFT to do that hasn't been done that someone would actually want to build?

Or are we pretty much done? Which is my feeling.

ION Cannon, got it planned, just need some big vacforming done for the plating.....anybody? lol.

Anything from the TESB Rebel Fleet pending ref....ahem...cough lol.

Those at the moment are on my WANT to do list.

Ion cannon is very cool. I'd love to see a rebel transport. Love both of those designs.

REBEL Transport.....really?

Thats a shock. I would not have thought it had any appeal.

No idea who big the SS was, or what reference is out there.

I was thinking JABBA Barge (1/2 SS scale) or a Skiff.

Im doing the RT, been on a BIG hiatus from her though, its such a pain in the ass

There are plenty of subjects that havent been tackled yet. Too bad YOU don't WANT to build them.

I never said I didnt want to BUILD them....
Building a kit and PRODUCING a kit....

Two different enchiladas.

About time other folks started cranking out 50+ part resin kits!!

I guess your right. It would seem all the desirable - and doable subjects have been done.
Producing kits is unbelievably harder than most would know.

I know there´s been a SS Vader´s TIE, but am I wrong in remembering it was a bit too small?

How about the Sith Infiltrator from Ep. I? Don´t know how big the model was, or if it was actually used in the film, but I love this craft.

By this thread I'm assuming you guys only mean SW subjects(you should put that in the title).

I can think of quite a few non-SW subjects that haven't been done.

If you mean kits I would love to see Vader's TIE and Death Star turbolaser turret.

I'd also like a studio scale vader TIE.

The rebel transport was more for me, Frank, than a good business plan. I think that a lot of us show that there's very little agreed to about which kits might be home runs.

You mentioned the Skiff, I felt in love when I saw the original prop twice. The sail barge would be great too but way too big... The Skiff has a nice display size ! (with the figures of course

)

The Rebel Transport is something I really like but once again, like the Falcon, it's more likely a one-off model than a kit, the plating and the cargo boxes would be a nightmare to cast correctly.
