I got my Studio scale "Spinner" from Randy Cooper....looks great. On his website another dude is selling Deckard and Gaff figures for $100. Fine. Now, is it just me or does the Deck figure look like Walter Matthau??????? I'm thinking the spinner might look better sans Deck and Gaff.....

Do they come pre-painted? $100 seems like a lot for two small figures.

    Pre-painted traditionally means "already painted".

You are saying that UN-painted is $100.

My [hi-res] 3d printer arrives later this month, I know a fella who created one of the most realistic 3d Deckard busts in Zbrush. Possibility of offering a super-detailed figure for Randy's kit? ... I'll get back to this thread later, until then my rpf pm box is full.

It actually LOOKS like Harrison Ford. But can you get that likeness scaled down to the right size? Here's hoping!

I ordered the Spinner figures from Schaffer Studios back on April 16th and still nothing. Exchanged a few emails and then he went dark. Really bummed so buyer beware. Still hoping to get them but not expecting much.

The digital version looks awesome. How it get printed and offered as a kit. Need Gaff too.

    Cheers

I'm in the same boat as you, szarchie. I ordered the figures about the same time you did. In June I emailed Clark to find out the status of my order. He replied that he was on a film shoot in the desert and would be casting and shipping in the next two weeks. I sent him an more email in September. No reply. It's now November and I have squat.

If the man is having delays, I can respect that and be patient, but at least he should reply to my inquiries. If he is not going to fulfill the project, he should at least refund our monies. I don't think he is trying to cheat us--he has too good of a reputation for that. However, eight months does seem a very long time, especially when he promised to fill order in June.

I also found a link to what is claimed to be his website, but all that came up was a Chinese hospital webpage.

Schaffer didn't reply to any of my e-mails so I never ordered the figures and am pleased that I didn't.

If the intention was to sculpt the actors the results are unimpressive, but in fairness to Schaffer, maybe they intended to duplicate the studio figure models which were "basic".

Cultttvman has had the Fujimi figures in stock twice now. I missed getting them both times as they sell out quickly. They are only $25 for a set of both figures.
