Does the heat (temperature) in Texas cause any problems with your build or is your shop climate controlled?

Not really, the only thing that might get a little wonky are the 2 part foam patterns over time, but i just use those to make concrete plugs and they get tossed any way. and the concrete will never shrink or crack. so not really a problem. unless you dont like the heat. and well Texas aint no where near as hot as the Sand box.

How much does it cost to have something like this printed out? Its a new world to me but well worth investigating?

Guy, that parts about $60. theres ways to save money by making hollow parts and making the side walls thinner. let me know if you want a part made ill see what i can do for you.

Man when those 3-D printers come down in price that will be sweet to have one, remember the 1st flat screen tv's when they came out they were about $10,000 to $15,000 grand that was nuts Lol.

Ray, still got a ways to go for good resolution and a decent price. Right now for a good printer its about 30k. Anything under that and theres alot of clean up work and loss of detail.

Formed a part and started trimming still need to form the plating and add the inner wall thickness to it. Heres what i have so far.

    Thanks for looking.

Also go back to the lower wing part saturday. So another update soon.

Also my laser cutter should be here next week. Got 50watts of power so can cut 1/2 inch wood and acrylic. With a 12x24x 8 inch bed. So if any one needs cutting just PM me.
