Thanks Guys. its really coming along now. with the engines on this it will be crazy big. will have to move it to its rolling stand by then. ordering silicone today so will mold the boxes later this week and cast them by the weekend.
Shizman. im sorry i forget to get you that gelcoat. Smooth-on sells it buts its not by them. its an industrial gelcoat. i picked white because thats what the studio used for theres, plus it looks a lot cleaner and easier to see plus when you glue styrene on it it all blends in and has an even look to it.

Yeah since my silicone shipment got backed up until Monday i just went over parts and cleaned them up. fill little pin holes and just go over everthing. i should have the cargo boxes in silicone tonight.

OK, got all the pulls we need for the cone done and started cutting the layers. still need to trim a little. not going to rush this part its such an important part of the model. some pics make the part look bigger than it is. i guess i should of just left the settings alone. oh well. should have the cargo boxes all done by the weekend and the cone will be farther along. heres a few pics for today.

I hope they're usefull to you, if you want them bigger (A4) I can send them to you via Email but they are a little grainy, my scanner's a bit old

Its huge. Over 5 feet long. Rent a truck. Its in my state so not to far of a drive.

Sorry Ray. Parts were tacky so i figured i would post it tonight. Sorry for making you wait.
Can't wait to see the next pics. It's really starting to look like the Betty now with that come in place.
another update, Sorry for the delay Ray.
Started fitting the little medallion part that goes on either side of the cone. And molded the cargo boxes and got the first three layed up and mounted. will make the other three tomorrow. heres some pics, hope you like.
