Slave to a Rhythm (with no grace)

LFL cant afford me, well cant afford to have me around there stuff anyway

Kind words bud, I'll try to keep up the good work on this build.

Its been slow going as I've been ill all weekend with some kind of flu or bug, waiting for UPS to deliver the AT-ST armature today so decided to get a bit more done. The under and rear plate are now solid but not attached to the hull. I need to make the support struts inside for the correct alignment then dry clamp it to work out the plate size from the tail to skirt, 3 rd peace of this jigsaw so to speak. I'm going to make bucks for the gun domes next and make sure it all fits in the skirt.

My Entex parts are on there way today so the new year should see some results before I go back to work.

I think the hull is about 18mm too short approx so I need to work out where to loose the difference or re design the skirt to tail plate.

Sorry about the naff pics, my lens has died for my camera and I only have a zoom lens that I cant use at close range as its too silly for my hobby.

Needs a little clean up and filling here and there but generally I'm really chuffed with the results so far.

Cheers Phil mate, to be fare though I do think this is possibly the easiest part of the hole shabang, not to say it isn't nice and looks like a pro has built it

I do think there are some dark days ahead though, I'm pretty confident I can build the back half of slave 1 and have it sticking out of the wall as a weird display piece.....if all goes well, a full Slave 1 that holds itself together and doesn't implode with a small breeze.

Even Bruce Lee had a master mate and the team that started the hole Slave trade deserve that punch way before I take any credit, theres paint by numbers and making the paint and the paper.

Agreed mate, not even a shiny new armature can bring me up at the moment. I'm so glad I have to go to ASDA tonight and not just sit here sweating and twitching

I used to live in Leeds in the early 90's, I new when Liverpool where playing at Ellen Rd as all the car alarms used to go off after the match, and they hung washing across the street between terrace houses. The BBC where always filming war dramas there and it snowed in May, apart from that it was ok....oh yeh I also got stoned (thrown stones, not drugs) by an asian family and lived opposite a brothel.

What a wind up, got my Entex castings today but cant work on them now for over 4 weeks. I'm having serious hobby withdrawls. Toys out of the pram soon if I dont glue cut or paint something.
