I just grabbed a bunch of donor kits off of ebay to compliment the ones I already have, and I placed my initial Plastuct order.
I also shot through Ralphee and Guys thread again. I'm getting pretty excited here!

I had a notice from the post office today! Guess they tried to deliver the scratch parts!!
Oh - do we want to keep this to the scratch ones only, or resin kit builders too?
No drama with the post, was only a figure of speech. My girlfriend signed for it and it came well packed and un damaged

Not sure if there is an abundance of pictures of the probe droid but Rymo has taken a picture of one (i don’t know if its screen used etc) from a star wars exhibit. He has mensioned he might be going back to take more picks of other stuff so if needed he might take some more of the probe if asked and it’s in his thread here.

Glen (ZK) already did add the vacuum....
I was working this up - imagine the black is lasercut black acrylic, the white lettering is frosted/etched into the surface, and then below that, a custom plaque with the builder's name on it, in a different color of acrylic (maybe brushed aluminum-ish?)

Im not sure my intensions for this thread have been taken the right way. With it being a Scratch only, isn't a look down at resin builds at all far from it.
Just looking for info in the thread that me and Lee did is hard as its so long and in depth, if we have too many builds in one thread it will loose its purpose and become too diluted in the help to posts ratio.
I've just ordered another GK resin kit and am looking for another so its not distain in any way, just sensible.

Apologies if this is a wee bit OT but what do folk know about the full sized probe droid? I have be trying to find reference pics and info but pretty much not come up with anything decent yet. Can anyone here help? It's such as an awesome droid!

Sweet will wait for the photo. Have a question Mars regarding the top and bottom domes, Is there any need to trim the bases of the domes or are they around the correct height to just epoxy the rings to as is?
