Got my Interceptor armature today! I haven't tried a test-fit yet, but I can have cut down if necessary. I'm gonna miss seeing my name up there, even if it was misspelled

Sweet!! New hero TIE wing star is under construction. Once the two patterns are made I'll be molding the new star which is based upon reference from Richard Edlund's ANH TIE. As the new TIE hulls this will be the last version TIE fighter wing we will do. From the new master pattern I will assemble a new standard wig to go with the basic version of the TIE with cast vintage Koolshade embedded in the casting. Will post updates here!!

Since it's related to the backlog, Steve, why don't you photo document the TIE wing as it's progressing for us! I think all concerned would very much enjoy this upcoming set of wings.....I know I would. If nothing else start a new TIE wing thread. It sounds fantastic the way you described it dude!

The armature is the exact length for the interceptor excluding the thickness of the endcaps. The wings mount flush to the end of the armature. Hope that makes sense.
