Yeh man, there's several mistakes people make commonly with this ship. Most common one one is to make the front half too short overall. Next most common is to give it a dip between the front upper hull and the nose. It is almost dead flat in profile.

Does anyone have a good clear pic of the modified "Joltin Josie" logo? I believe it says "Miss Piggy" now. I have a couple but not super clear.

Yeh that's the one I have, from Phil Rae. Like so many pics, if it was 'just a little closer' I'd be able to make out the text :-)
I did find this kit (horrible looking) someone is selling ALIEN/S Studio Scale Narcissus* - Narcissus Studio Scale - DreamScheme Studios and they have made the modified decal, using the name 'Margaret Oris' but I've no idea what's really there.

I should try emailing Phil again...

Yeah, that's the Aliens ... The sequel version. Lot a differences in the ship. I have one of those lined up through a member here. Just for comparison mind.

Yeah, I did some reading for my own knowledge. I guess there were three versions? The "hero," a larger sized forced perspective version and then the sequel recreation. And the one on display today is a replica.

Anyway, you can see the Airfix Space Shuttle box in this photo:

Good eye mate. Would be good to I'd the part from it. I imagine there would be kit boxes lying around everywhere in that shop. They used a bazillion 8 rads on the Nostromo.

Actually if even offered a laser cut core kit, with castings of some harder to get pieces, the engines and a decal set, I'd be in.

You could even ask me to do the decals.
