    Aug 3, 2011 - MR Enterprise help! #1

ok I have the MR Enterprise limited edition scale model. I just turned it on and one of the nacelles is not turning!

Any one know what I can do? I have NO experience modeling etc.

Please help. I am in NYC if any one is local!

With mine, I've never had one not turn, however, when I haven't turned it on in a long while (months), sometimes the starboard nacelle starts slower than the port side, about half speed. After a minute or two, it gets back up to normal speed once it's warmed up.

Cycle the power multiple times, see if that wont jar it loose,
Try vibrating that nacelle motor externally. Pad the nacelle with paper towel or something so you do not scratch it and hold something that vibrates against it. Cycle the power concurrently.

An electric tooth brush would probably work as a vibrating device. No jokes guys! LOL

Maybe warming it up too, a hair dryer but only from a safe distance to slowly warm it up.

    Hey NYC woo hoo!.

Yea - there was a thread about this when the first came out. It happened to a few people. Best thing to do is to vibrate it, whack it... (carefully!) I believe some of the fluid in there gunked up on you.

It could be worse, others had the fluid/oil leaking out of the nacelle..

    good luck

Need to run these things for several minutes every week. The ones that I know are doing this (myself included) have had little to no problems.

Since this is a very common and well known problem and we have several threads about this, this thread will remain locked.
