Hi!
My name's Rodrigo and I'm from Chile, South America. I really find this forum amazing! not only the topics are really interesting, but the people seem really nice and friendly.
I have a question, I'm building my own replica of an x-wing, just for fun and I've run into a little problem, I cannot identify this piece, I don't know to which model kit it belongs to... I could really use some help from you, guys!

I used this pic from another post in this forum, I apologize to the owner, but it is a really good picture where you can clearly see the pice I'm talking about.

IIRC there was talk about it coming from the Bandai 1/15th Scale Hummel. A return roller i believe. I think the edges need to be tapered in too. Not 100% sure but i hope this helps.

Yeah, that's right, be sure to not get the version with the return rollers molded in another plastic than the regular styrene because it's almost impossible to sand correctly (you need to used water). That's a high friction plastic, that's why it's hard to sand, it was in one of the 80's or 90's R/C release, the original had regular styrene return rollers.

Thank you, guys, this has been really helpful! i appreciate you taking the time to answer me!
The model kit you mention is really hard to get down here, I`ll try to get it on e-bay... now, if one of you has a one and wants to sell it (or resine copies of the pieces of the Hummel used for the X-wing model), I`d be more than interested and grateful!! PM me!
