How many TOS Vipers were built?

For those out there who have studied the TOS BSG Vipers:

How many Viper miniatures were built for the show and what were their unique characteristics? I know there is the one with the engine exhaust effect, the one with the landing gear, and one with the battle damage on the bottom. Some have pilot figures and some have solid cockpit windows. I've seen one Appogee photo showing (IIRC) 6 Vipers on a table. Each one also seemed to have a slightly different set of stripes as well as the rest of the paint job.

Any info is appreciated!

I don't know either, but I always assumed they used one and just overlapped the footage to make it look like more than one.

CB2001- that is correct; they did duplicate the viper images to look like more than one, but there were several miniatures built to show specific things (like gear down, turbos, etc.).
