Yeah I have that kit-when I first saw that part I thought I was home free!
But Im trying for complete accuracy-thats what makes this process so hard! One of the few kits that you mentioned that I dont own is the Jeep(Mark didnt show that one on his list either)-Ill get a few different ones this week hopefully.

Well my thinking is that maybe a different company that makes that model may have that part molded differently. The round part on the end looks like a spot for the plastic to pour in to the mold.

    I'll keep looking.

Hmmm..thats a thought as well.Ill look for other Matildas also!I think the trick may be to find out what that part on the Matilda is used for and go from there.

A merlin is an engine used in British WWII aircraft.

    You can eliminate Tamiya 1/35:
SAS jeep, sdkfz 250/3 greif, matilda, krupp protze, chrurchill crocodile & 20mm flakvierling.

    Any recent progress, Wayne?
I looked for your thread over on starshipmodeler, but it looks like it fell off the edge of the world.

You had come too far to stop!!
Have you started working on the structure at all? Or still working the details?
    Look forward to seeing more.

Absolutely beautiful work so far. The 5 footer is my grail model. When is someone going to master a kit of this. I just don't have the skill to scratch build, but if some one offered a kit I would be all over it. I realize that space constraints are a concern, but there has to be others like me who are waiting for one of the fine artisans on this board to take the plunge.
